Well, I don't even know how I finished this game, which started as a stupid idea to create a game in this obscure language called batch files, ended up being one of the most fun and agonizing projects to ever make and it ended up being so incredibly good that I decided to share it on the internet. Papers Please has been a really special game to me since I was a kid, what had made me feed a affection along all these years, and making this fan game was in a way an accomplishment, sorry if the words weren't so good, English isn't my native language, and sorry if there are any grammatical errors in this version of the game. But I hope you like it as much as I do.

LORE:

Fortal City, or until then Fortal District, was just a small piece of land to the northwest of the imperialist and authoritarian City-State of Aquiraz, which controlled everything from culture to the economy on the coast of Ceará for decades. However, this was the golden age in Aquiraz. After some difficult years for this city and the strengthening of others around it, the machine of influence in Aquiraz began to show signs of rust to the world, which had been corroding its robust gears for a long long time. This was the perfect opportunity for an uprising in that small district that dreamed of freedom. You, a promising bureaucrat from Aquiraz, saw your life change radically when you moved with your family to Fortal District just a few days before the revolution broke out. Luckily, right after the independence of this district, you were lucky enough to get a job that was not so different from what you were used to, sitting and checking documents, inspecting all travelers who wanted to enter Fortaleza. Not only that, but you also had to support your family! Feeding them and treating any illness, after all, air infested with diesel smoke does not provide a healthy environment for you or those around you. Witness the fast construction of this Fort City.

Poisé, nem sei como terminei esse jogo, o que começou como uma ideia biluteteia de criar um jogo nessa linguagem de programação obscura chamada batch file, acabou sendo um dos projetos mais divertidos e desesperadores, agonizantes, e incríveis que eu já fiz, de tal forma que ficou minimamente aceitável a ponto de eu compartilhar na internet. Papers Please sempre foi um jogo muito especial para mim desde molequinho, o que me fez alimentar um carinho ao longo de todos esses anos. Fazer essa paródia foi de certa forma uma conquista, Espero que você goste desse bgl o tanto quanto eu. Salve pros meus compatriotas cearenses

Fortal City, ou até então Fortal District, era só um pedacinho de terra ao noroeste da imperialista e autoritária Cidade-Estado de Aquiraz, controladora de tudo, desde a cultura até a economia no litoral dos Cearás por questão de décadas. No entanto, essa era a era de ouro em Aquiraz, após alguns anos difíceis para essa cidade e o fortalecimento das outras ao seu redor, a máquina de influência aquirazense começou a demonstrar ao mundo os seus sinais de ferrugem, que, por bastante tempo corroía as suas robustas engrenagens, a oportunidade perfeita para um levante naquele pequeno distrito que sonhava em liberdade. Você, um promissor burocrata aquirazense, vê a sua vida se transformar radicalmente ao se mudar com a sua família para Fortal District pouquíssimo dias antes da revolução eclodir, por sorte, logo após a independência desse distrito, você teve a sorte de arranjar um emprego não tão distinto do que você já estava acostumado, inspecionando todos os viajantes que almejam entrar em Fortaleza. Não só isso, como também deverá sustentar a sua família! Os alimentando e tratando de qualquer doença, afinal um ar infestado com fumaça diesel não proporciona um ambiente tão salubre nem para você ou quem está a sua volta. Presencie a rápida construção dessa Fortal City.
